Whatās Fajalauza? Also known as āBarro Granadina,ā this Spanish pottery technique is renowned for symbolic motifs (like pomegranates and birds), vibrant colors and signature geometric patterns inspired by examples of Moorish architecture, such as Granadaās Alhambra. It dates back to the 12th-century Nazrid Dynasty, the last Muslim dynasty in the Iberian Peninsula before Sultan Muhammad XII surrendered his lands to Isabella I of Castile.
